Banana Bread

I've had this recipe since I got married 8 years ago. It was my husband's great grandma Adams recipe. I tried it a couple months ago when I was at my fabulous sister's house and decided to make it faithfully from there on out. It is so moist and delicious.

*Mix together*
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening

*Then add*
2 eggs
5-6 ripe bananas{if your bananas are going brown and you don't have time to make banana bread for a while, just throw them in the freezer until you do!}

*After you've mixed above ingredients add*
4 little cups of flour
dash of salt
1 heaping tsp baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

*Mix well and bake for 1 hour at 350. Makes two loaves.
