These are by far the moistest sugar cookies I've ever tried and the hint of peppermint in the frosting just screams Christmas!
Cookies:
1c. butter, softened
2c. sugar
2 eggs
1c. sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp. soda
4 tsp. baking powder
4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
*Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add sour cream and vanilla. Add all dry ingredients. Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes.
Frosting:
1 cube softened butter
3/4 bag of powdered sugar
4 TBS milk
1 tsp mint extract
*Whip butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar and milk. Add mint extract.
